Book of James - The Rubbers Going to Hit the Road!

Hey gang, this week we are going to be looking at the book of James (well okay - this one might go into two weeks!). If you get a chance to read it before Monday night please do. We will be delving into the whole faith and deeds thing (pretty important really!). Come with some practical ideas on how we put our faith into action.........

Feeling sore but thankful!

Well we've kicked off the year with our first DVD of the Dangerous Stories DVD pack that we will be exploring over the next couple of weeks. As I'm a bit sore from my little op today, I think we will probably tackle another DVD session this Monday night followed by some thought provoking (?) discussion. We will start at 7:30 (ish as usual!). If you haven't already returned your survey, could you please e-mail it to me or bring it on Monday night. If you can't make it this week, let me know and I'll e-mail you a copy of the notes I have made from watching the DVD session for this Monday night.

For those of you that may be interested in some reading, this weeks study is titled: Missional God, Missional People. Some useful reading would be John 13: 34-35, Hosea 6:6, Micah 6: 6-8, and Matthew 9: 13 and 12:7 (all pretty short verses!)

We're back from Philip Island!!!

We are back from our weeks holiday at Philip Island - although juggling two kids couldn't really be called a holiday! Just got some new study material in from Forge - DVD pack with some really cool speakers. We might crack into one of them on Monday night this week. Just a reminder that Monday night this week is a dinner night (6:30 ish start). Look forward to hearing all about the games night. Let us know if you are coming or not. Mike.
